TDoS are delighted and thrilled to have been chosen as Lead for the design on luxury cruise line Crystal Cruises two newly ordered expedition yachts.
The 160 m long and 23 m wide “Crystal Endeavor” class vessels are designed to operate mainly in Arctic and Antarctic regions, but also for cruising in the tropical regions when travelling between the poles.
Crystal Endeavor will accommodate up to 200 passengers in 100 suites, and will carry the same number of crew. They will thereby become the world’s largest and most spacious purpose-built expedition yachts.
The 20,000 GT cruise vessels will be built at MV WERFTEN Stralsund, with production starting late 2017 and deliveries from spring 2019.
Tillberg Design of Sweden designed the first ship for Crystal Cruises in 1988, in the role as Lead Architects for much-loved “M/S Crystal Harmony” (currently “M/S Asuka II”)
