On the 18th of August, an agreement was signed between TDoS and Genting HK that assigns TDoS as Lead Architect for the newly ordered pair of “Global Class” cruise ships ordered by Star Cruises.
The 201,000 GT vessels will be over 340 m long and 45 m wide, and are designed for worldwide cruising. They order was placed at MV WERFTEN, and steel cutting for the first vessel is expected to begin in late 2017. Delivery is scheduled for 2020 & 2021 respectively.
