Norwegian Joy was successfully delivered 27th of April from Meyer Werft during a ceremony in Bremerhaven, Germany and is now on her journey to China. Joy in the second ship in NCL’s Breakaway-Plus class and the first NCL ship that has been developed for the Asian market.

“With this ship we have taken Norwegian’s signature onboard experience
and expanded and customized it with features, services and amenities that combine the best of the East and the West,” commented David Herrera, president of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings China.

Tillberg Design of Sweden are pleased to have been trusted with many of
the top areas onboard, like the stunning Shabu Shabu and Teppanyaki restaurants, VIP casinos, accommodation areas including some beautiful suites, and of course the first at sea two-level Go Kart track!

The ship will be christened on June 27th by the “King of Chinese Pop” Wang Leehom.
