In May 2021, Ocean Sheroes will be taking part in The Great Pacific Rowing Race, a 2,700 mile row from San Francisco to Hawaii. The 4 woman team aim to cross the ocean in support of the Seabin Project and TDoS of course want to support this! A Seabin is a floating rubbish bin that skims the surface water by pumping water into the device. the organization also takes part in preventative activities including community activation, education programs, data collection and scientific research. Ultimately, they aim to promote a world where there isn’t a need for Seabins at all.
